July 20

Fayetteville, Arkansas

From the bride:  “My overall goal for the day was to create a relaxed and fun day. We used the colors orange, light pink, cream and gold to help set a warm mood and environment. For the groom’s cake, we served sugar cookies from Great American Cookie Company. Anyone who knows Jud well knows he LOVES those cookies! I had a cute signature tree made on Etsy that we used as the guestbook. One of my favorite moments in the wedding process was probably our playlist. Jud and I picked out songs to play before the musician played. It reminded us of all the concerts we have been to together. I loved everything about the wedding day! I had a great time getting ready with my mom, sister and closest friends and taking pictures with Jud even though it was HOT. I loved being on my dad’s arm as he walked me down the aisle. I had fun singing and dancing with Jud and friends at the receptions. We also had a great time going out in Dickson with our friends after the reception! All in all we had an amazing and carefree time!”

Red, White and Blue Bouquet Inspiration

Today we’re continuing the patriotic spirit with a round up of  red, white and blue bouquets. Take a look at some of our favorites!

Nothing says glamour and romance like a pop of red-hot blooms. This warm, cheerful hue works well for any season.

Q & A with the Bride:

What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?

The outdoor space. It had a waterfall, creek and lots of greenery.

Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?

  1. The pies and tiramisu instead of cake
  2. The outdoor venue
  3. The slideshow the maid of honor made which was watched during dinner

If you could offer one piece of advice for other couples planning their wedding, what would it be?

Don’t do things just because that is “what you are supposed to do.”  If you want to do something a little non-traditional, then do it!

Give us the one moment in your wedding day you can’t stop thinking about.

The dancing during the reception.  Our family and friends live all over the country so it was very special to be able to celebrate and enjoy the night with all of them together.
