Nature-Inspired Late Summer Wedding in Colorado

Whitney & Nate

September 11

Fort Collins, Colorado

Our Q&A with the bride:

What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?

Planning our wedding from a distance was a challenge.  And with so many family members flying in from all over the country, we wanted one location to make it easy for them to stay close and the day of.  The Tapestry House offered a brilliant oasis not far from the fun of Old Town.

If you could offer one piece of advice for other couples planning their wedding, what would it be?

It may sound silly, but we kept the focus on us.  In the beginning of the process we agreed on the top three things that were most important to us.  We tried to be clear on what we wanted and most importantly, what we didn’t.  Because at the end of the day, no matter what went wrong or what Aunt Susie thought of my flowers or the ceremony music, we were married and it was a beautiful day.

Give us the one moment in your wedding day you can’t stop thinking about.

The moment I finally got to the front to stand in front of Nate.  That walk, albeit 100 feet, was the longest walk of my life!  It was amazing to see our closest friends and family and end up standing in front of my best friend, knowing we were about to make such an important commitment to each other.
