Sofia Vergara, who stars in ABC’s Modern Family TV series as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, is finally engaged to Joe Manganiello, who stars in HBO’s True Blood TV series as werewolf Alcide Herveaux. The question was reportedly popped over Christmas while vacationing in Hawaii together. So, when will the wedding take place? That’s to be determined. But our Fashion Editor can give you a glimpse into what she might wear: a figure-hugging mermaid silhouette. See her 10 ideas based off Fall 2015 bridal market collections here.

Another Fall Bridal Fashion Week has come and gone, and our Editorial Team witnessed some truly memorable moments that were both on and off fashion designer runway shows. Editor Sarah Zlotnick’s favorite? “New York City is an exciting place for wedding fashion because it’s an exciting place for love. While jetting between fashion shows one day, I walked right into this couple taking their engagement pictures in the middle of Times Square. I wanted to scoop the bride-to-be up and take her with me!” she said. Read more that singularly knocked her socks off here.

With her classic-meets-cute-meets-California-cool style, Lauren Conrad is undoubtedly one of our favorite fashion icons (and reality TV stars in Laguna Beach). And now that she’s engaged, we can’t wait to see what she’ll wear down the aisle to William Tell. If you’re as guilty of obsessing over her red carpet style as we are, check out these LC-inspired wedding gowns here. We’re hoping she wears one our picks, of course!

Five Fabulous Looks from Hayley Paige

Posted by Bridal Market on Oct 22, 2011

From the designer of Blush, Hayley Paige is a new collection from JLM Couture. The line had similar sensibilities to Blush in that the collection was light and airy with a youthful feel. Here are five looks we loved from the debut collection:

Cut-out Backs: Back detailing was important to every designer this season and cut-outs was one technique we saw a lot of. These two gowns both feature a cut-out back, of which one is in the shape of a heart. Remember, we said youthful.

Trimmed Hems: While many skirts were edged in a thick horsehair, this ball gown featured a petite band trim. Definitely more light and feminine.

Criss-Cross Straps: We loved these metallic criss-cross straps that crossed in both the front and then again in the back.

Swiss Dot: A young and fun fabric, Swiss dot gives off a without a care in the world type of feeling. This sweetheart strapless fit-to-flare gown has ruched detailing, a lace-up corset and flower detail above the waist.

Easy Breezy: We think this is the perfect dress for a tropical destination wedding. The lace gown is veiled in silk Georgette with a loosely draped overlay and accented with flowers on the bodice.
