Megan and David were married at Rocky River Vineyards in Charlotte, N.C. on September 28. “[It’s] such a beautiful, tranquil place that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere,” Megan said. “We were so happy to find a place with this atmosphere that wasn’t too far outside the city. We wanted to have our ceremony and reception at the same location and this venue offered that opportunity as well as a place for the bridal party to get ready.” On the day of the wedding, the weather was perfect, no rain. Every bride’s dream right? Megan walked down the aisle wearing a lace wedding gown with an illusion neckline and keyhole back, carrying a do-it-yourself bouquet. “I loved all the pops of red,” she said. “Red is both of our favorite color, so I was excited to use lots of [it] in our wedding — my shoes, David’s tie, bridesmaid dresses, etc.” Her favorite moment? The first look. “I was so nervous all day up until the moment we saw each other,” Megan said. “It was such a special part of the day to have some time with just the two of us.”
