Jennifer & Ronnie

April 13

Fullerton, California

Q & A with the Bride:

What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?

We knew we wanted to have a tented reception where we could build out the space from the ground up. Muckenthaler offered a versatility, with a beautiful ceremony space and a large lawn area where a tent was possible!

Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?

  1. The white tent with beautiful lining and three crystal chandeliers
  2. The hanging terraniums that we created as escort cards for all the guests
  3. The crown centerpieces

If you could offer one piece of advice for other couples planning their wedding, what would it be?

Determine the three things that are most important to you in terms of the wedding details as the items that cannot be compromised. Then for everything else, be willing to be flexible and open-minded about alternative methods and options in means of keeping within your budget.

Give us the one moment in your wedding day you can’t stop thinking about.

Every moment was so precious, however, one that really sticks out for me is the Father/Daughter dance. My father and I are typically not very emotional or affectionate towards one another, so that moment we shared together was very special.

Supernita & Vivek

April 7

Savannah, Georgia

What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?

We wanted an outdoor wedding near the water that captured the essence of Savannah – the city we got engaged. The Westin Savannah Harbor Resort provided us that backdrop for capturing the beauty of the river and historic Savannah, while providing us the flexibility of indoor and outdoor spaces that we wanted for our spring wedding weekend.

Which details from your wedding were your favorites?

  1. The magical setting on Friday night, with the lights, colors, dhol player, surprise fireworks on the river against the backdrop of historic Savannah.
  2. The oversized floral arrangements and neutral color palette of our reception day, with abundant candles and flowers. Our place settings that had a rose bloom and a personalized thank you note for each of our guests at the reception.  It allowed us the opportunity to individually express our gratitude for their presence and make it a more intimate event.
  3. The beautiful weather we lucked out with on the day of our wedding. The pink orchids and crystals, rose petals down the aisle and the vibrant outfits of our wedding party, against the clear blue skies made for a perfect afternoon setting for our wedding.

If you could offer one piece of advice for other couples planning their wedding, what would it be?

The wedding is a celebration of your love! Minor details don’t matter, focus on absorbing the love and energy around you. During the ceremony, try to do a time-out moment where both of you capture a mental picture of your ceremony – that will remain with you forever!

Give us the one moment in your wedding day you can’t stop thinking about.

The moment Vivek and I entered our Friday night Sangeet event (the first event of our wedding weekend), we were awestruck by the fact that everyone had traveled great distances (Savannah is not an easy city to get to) just to celebrate with us — and that is our most amazing memory the entire weekend!

If pretty-pink-princess-style weddings are so not your taste, you’ll love today’s styled shoot. We love the sleek, glamorous black-and-white vibe, and the venue – a hotel located in Colorado Springs’ turn-of-the-century commodities exchange building – has so much character. We love the modern ceremony backdrop, the centerpieces dripping with crystals, and the black-tie inspired place settings.

Lindsey & Matthew

June 15

Newport Beach, California

From the photographer:

“Matt and Lindsey’s summer Newport Beach wedding was one I had been looking forward to all year. They held their wedding at one of my favorite venues, the Newport Beach Marriott and enlisted some of my favorite vendors. LVL Events really tied their day together, leaving not one detail to chance. Matt and Lindsey tied the knot under the gorgeous outdoor gazebo on the Marriott lawn and their ceremony  could not have been more perfect. Their reception followed in one of the hotel’s grand ballrooms, adorned in pink floral arrangements, by Bloom Box, that were simply breathtaking. Matt and Lindsey were given a first look of their reception site before their guests so that they could take it all in and were they surprised. I would have to say their favorite detail of their room was their sweetheart table, which was not covered in your standard linens but instead a blanket of fresh pink roses. . . absolutely stunning! The remainder of their day included a dress change by Lindsey, out of her stunning fairytale gown into a shorter version of the same gown, so chic! And of course a fun photo booth, caricature artist and a classic ice cream station to put the perfect ending touch on a perfect wedding day. ” – Lily Stein Photography
