Our Q&A with the Bride
What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?
We love the beach! Sunset Beach is a beautiful place where we have been blessed to have family vacations. It was amazing to be able to share our special day with friends and family in such a relaxed environment.
Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?
- Barefoot ceremony in the sand
- Pictures. We had an amazing photographer that made us feel comfortable and a natural setting that was great for wedding pictures.
- Dancing! We had so much fun at the reception. It was nice to see friends and family cutting loose and having a good time. Cookies and milk shooters were served at the end of the night, creating a fun end to a memorable day.
Give us the one moment in your wedding day you can’t stop thinking about.
We were very serious about not seeing each other before the ceremony. Scott had not seen me or my dress until that moment when I walked over the boardwalk with my dad. What a great feeling! Facing each other, with the ocean in the background, saying our vows, is a moment that will not be forgotten.
Heather & Bryan
Conway, South Carolina
Possibly one of the most fun couples I’ve ever worked with. Their wedding was mostly DIY, they had a lot of help from some very crafty family members. The bridal party flowers, centerpieces, ceremony & reception decorations, and the cake were all done by friends and family. The green bridesmaids dresses went beautifully with the natural setting they chose for the venue, the Conway Riverwalk and the Peanut Warehouse. Bryan & Heather chose to do a first look which was great fun seeing Bryan’s face when he saw her for the first time. Then on the way back to the venue they chose to have a private walk back together just to get a little time to themselves. The bride told me after the wedding that “my wedding couldn’t have been more perfect!” ~ Gillian Reinhardt, of Carolina Studios by Gillian Reinhardt
Samantha & Scott
Pawleys Island, South Carolina
From the Photogrpaher: “This wedding had so much southern charm! From the location at the very new Reserve Harbor Yacht Club in Litchfield South Carolina to the elegant pool side reception with touches of the beach and the plantations. Samantha & Scott, both being from the North East US, wanted a wedding to reflect their love for their new home in Myrtle Beach SC. The party was the best part!” –Carolina Studios by Gillian Reinhardt
