Bridesmaid Hanger Gifts

We’ve all seen customized hangers for brides, but what about your bridesmaids?  I wanted to get my girls something a little different and something custom to each onte.  The Hanger Girl on Etsy designs these customized name hangers in bulk, which was great for me since I needed six.  They came out super cute and all the girls loved them!

3 Wedding Favors for a Glitzy and Green New Year’s Eve

Posted by kharrison on Dec 31, 2012

2013 wedding trends are pointing towards all things glitzy glam. Roaring 1920’s weddings set in old mansions and historical venues will set the scene for late winter and spring weddings. A New Year’s eve wedding is the perfect time to go green and glam with a vintage 1920’s twist. Send your guests off with some delightful favors and brighten up their new year with sustainable choices.

1. Tiffany Necklace

Surprise your bridesmaids and your maid of honor with a beautiful, sustainable and organic pearl necklace. The cultivation of pearls requires the preservation of the ecosystem.  The water must be pristine, the land around it must be undisturbed and the air clean.  The slightest change in water temperature, salinity, pollution and current can kill the oysters. In fact, the cultivation of  pearls is the only industry that requires man to preserve and protect the environment.

Homemade Body Scrub for my Bridesmaids

Posted by apple on Aug 24, 2012

For my bridal shower, I wanted to make a little something special for all my bridesmaids.  So, with the help of Cyd from The Sweetest Occasion and Rhiannon from Hey Gorgeous Events, I was able to create a pretty and unique little favor for the girls to take home and enjoy.  I made Lemon Sugar Body Scrub from Cyd’s recipe; it was so simple to make and smells yummy too!

Here’s the ingredients you will need:

  1. 3 cups of sugar
  2. 3/4 cup of olive oil
  3. Juice from one lemon
  4. Zest from two lemons
  5. 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
  6. Jars (I used these from Hobby Lobby)
  7. Pretty ribbon

Bridesmaid Gifts?

Posted by apple on Aug 14, 2012

Hello Garden Buds!  I’d love to get your opinion on what everyone is getting or did get for their bridesmaids.  I’m starting to think about what I want to do and I’m stuck!  I love the idea of personalized clutches for the girls or some sort of personalized item.  I think these are so cute and I love how all of the linings in the purses are different.

For my sister’s wedding, she gave all the girls personalized robes which were super nice but seems to be the cliche gift to give. Any insight would be much appreciated!
