Kristina and Will were married at the White Orchid Beach House in Wailea-Makena, Hawaii on October 14 — all the way from Australia. The bride wore a sweetheart ruched a-line wedding gown, accessorized with a headband in her loose curls, while the groom wore a gray vest and pants, accessorized with argyle socks. Bridesmaids looked oh-so lovely in navy blue chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of all-white roses, orchids, and calla lilies. As intimate as the ceremony was overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the reception was even more so lit with a crystal chandelier, paper lanterns, and candles. Not to mention the palm trees! Each place setting featured a “thank you” tin for guests to take home with them. Can you guess what was inside? Well, it’s a secret.

Hilary and Gerry were married along Destiny Beach in Destin, Fla. on August 24. “Growing up, I always dreamed about getting married on the beach with my bare feet in the sand and the sound of the waves in my ears,” Hilary said. “My husband and I met at the beach, and he later proposed on the beach; it seemed fitting for us.” The ceremony took place before sunset with 12 of their closest family and friends (and two dogs) witnessing. Seashells lined the aisle and starfish decorated the chairs. “Our backs were to the sun, so we had no idea what the sunset looked like until we turned around and saw the most stunning pink skies,” she said. During the recessional, bubbles were blown! Hilary wore a sweetheart tulle wedding gown, accessorized with a turquoise statement necklace, while Gerry wore a white button-up shirt and khaki pants. Her bouquet and his boutonniere featured white roses and seashells from their parents’ honeymoon. How sentimental! Reception tables were decorated with burlap linens, gold charger platers, and illuminated with candles. The cake was their favorite flavor — red velvet.

Roshal and Zwade were married at Half Moon in Montego Bay, Jamaica on December 8. “I was born and raised in Jamaica and always dreamed of getting married in my home country,” Roshal said. “When we visited [the resort], we knew it was the place. The scenery was quintessentially Caribbean with the palm trees in the foreground, and the clear blue ocean in the distance.” The ceremony took place under a pavilion, where the bride wore an a-line wedding gown with a lace illusion back and the groom wore a tan suit, accessorized with Burberry socks! “I loved that we wrote our own vows,” she said. “We were both nervous about it, but were so glad we ultimately made the decision.” The reception tent was decorated with luscious blue and green arrangements, rhinestone napkin rings, candles, and decorative branches dangling with crystals. Their favorite moment? The first dance. “We had put in the practice, and were ready to show off our new moves,” Roshal said. “But somehow in the moment, we forgot everything. I still remember when we looked at each other and realized we were going to wing it. It was so funny, we had to try so hard not to laugh as we improvised our way through.”

Sara and Kevin were married at Serra Retreat in Malibu, Calif. on September 1. ‘The venue had beautiful tile and landscaping throughout the property,” Sara said. “The 180-degree ocean view as a backdrop was spectacular too.” The bride loved her lace trumpet wedding gown and Steve Madden sparkling platform peep-toe pumps as well as all the florals, which incorporated her favorite color pink, succulents, and dahlias.  Prior to the ceremony, the couple opted to have a first look, but as they were exchanging vows, they opted for a sand ceremony to symbolize their unity. Guests were escorted to reception tables that were named after beaches and asked to sign Kevin’s first surfboard as a kid in lieu of a traditional guest book. The night ended in candlelight with rose petals floating in the fountain, and everyone dancing to the beat of the music.
