Nautical Theme Wedding

Posted by WeddingAces on Jul 03, 2009

I recently came across this colorful red/white/blue inspiration featured in First Eleven a UK magazine. Just in time for the Fourth of July, the vibrate colors are perfect for a summer or nautical theme wedding. Not fond of the red/white and blue? We have a solution – just change the shade of colors to aqua/coral and ivory.

Red,White, and Blue, Wedding Themes and Blossoms

The fourth of July weekend can be a great time to have a wedding. Many families are already planning to gather. Adding a wedding to the weekends festivities is just one more great reason to celebrate.

When designing the overall look and feel of a early July wedding, many people steer away from the typical red, white and blue color theme. I think there is a fear that it will not look sophisticated or elegant. I do believe it is possible to do designs in these colors without making it look to cliche.  This color combination is also wonderful for those who are very patriotic or perhaps serve in the military.

In honor of the 4th of July holiday tomorrow, I thought we should feature a patriotic inspiration board today. Nothing says summer in America like a red, white and blue color palette!
