As many of you know from experience or have been a part of a friend or family member’s process, that wedding planning is an extremely stressful time. As a bride, I have experienced highs and lows with this process, and I am finally starting to feel at ease. But with only 100 days to go the stress level is creeping back up. However, I have found that working out has helped relieve some of my stress and tension, and it also is helping me become more fit so I can feel confident on my big day!
I bought an unlimited month package for the month of January at a Pilates studio in my town. At that time I had no idea how much I would love it. We workout primarily on the reformer, which is totally different from the Pilates mat classes most gyms offer. As it is a small studio with only five reformers, it allows the instructors to be very personal, and it feels like I am working out with friends instead of a bunch of strangers. Pilates is a hard workout don’t get me wrong, but I also feel very relaxed at the same time. When I leave the studio I feel balanced and calm. I can say with confidence that I am a Pilates girl, and I plan to keep going to classes long after my wedding!
