Favorite Real Wedding Details of 2012, Part 2

Posted by Caitlin on Dec 28, 2012

Yesterday, we shared some of our favorite real wedding details of 2012, and we’re back today to bring you even more incredible style from this year.

Unique Bridesmaid Style

From the differing shades of gray and purple dresses to the statement pieces of jewelry, we love this entire bridal party’s style. Solid bridesmaid dresses are the norm, but having your maid of honor stand out in a patterned dress adds to the visual appeal. There’s no doubt these ladies will wear their dresses again and again. Alternative Bouquets

As a photographer herself, this bride wanted to personalize every detail of her wedding, especially her bouquet, which was filled with hearts and feathers. How fun! See more of Nancy and Dylan’s whimsical wedding here.

Chalkboard Ceremony Programs

An alternative to saving paper for your ceremony programs is this clever idea: Display your bridal party’s names on a chalkboard for your guests to see as they arrive. See more of Heather and James’ country wedding here.

Hand Painted Cakes

This couple chose to feature words on their cake that were meaningful to their relationship–a very personal touch that was too sweet to eat. See more of Katie and Nick’s artistic wedding here.

If you’re planning a destination wedding, you might want to steal a few of this couple’s table decor ideas. From the lace aisle runner to the beautiful flowers at each place setting, it’s like a picture perfect painting with a stunning ocean backdrop. See more of Joni and David’s beach wedding here.
