Adrienne and Brian were married in an outdoor ceremony at Shakespeare’s Garden, followed by an indoor reception at The Hamon Observation Tower in San Francisco, Calif. on May 31. “My wife wanted a beautiful outdoor garden, and I wanted something architecturally modern,” Brian said. “Shakespeare’s Garden for our ceremony and the de Young Museum tower for our reception, it turns out they were only 100 feet from each other.” The bride wore a sweetheart fit ‘n’ flare wedding gown with lots of texture, accessorized with a sideswept ponytail and feathered birdcage veil, while the groom wore a tan suit, accessorized with matching solid tie and pocket square. Bridesmaids wore long chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of white hydrangeas and green tricks. “The book, which my husband and I made,” Adrienne said. “We spent countless hours gluing each page down and then Brian cut a space in the center for our rings.” Following the reception, guests were given a penny to make a wish with at the fountain. Fun fact: It was also in memory of those loved ones who couldn’t celebrate from above. The museum’s floor-to-ceiling windows provided scenic views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Tables were decorated with white linens and floating candle centerpieces. “Having all of your family and friends all in one room supporting you was such an amazing experience,” he said. In lieu of a traditional guest book, Jenga pieces were signed to build memories. The newlyweds’ best advice? “Elope, but if you aren’t eloping, then make sure you choose a photographer and videographer that you are comfortable with as they’ll be sharing your most intimate moments with you and your future spouse,” she said.
