Towards the end of the planning cycle, I asked Plumeria Dude to design a venue sign for the wedding. Since we were holding the wedding at a nontraditional venue (beachfront estate) in an area most of our guests were not familiar with, this seemed like a good extra to include.
I’d seen tons of cute, rustic wedding signs during the course of planning, but they didn’t really fit with our venue or theme. This one’s good for a chuckle:
So Plumeria Dude, with the help of Adobe Photoshop and a couple of fonts from dafont.com (and his mad Photoshop skillz), put together a thoroughly cute sign. He used Vistaprint to make the sign, and it turned out nicely– like a real estate agent’s sign. My mom picked out some balloons from a nearby grocery store to go with it. I don’t have any photos of them, but they were cute little fishies.
I’m glad that we had this– it definitely made things easier on our guests and vendors, and the cost was less than $20 when all was said and done.
