For the final installment of our series sharing the results of our 2015 Newlywed Report, we’re talking about the nitty-gritty details of 2015 weddings. One of the most surprising details we learned in our survey was that nearly three-quarters of couples go over-budget. This just reinforces the importance of setting a budget early on, and using an online tool to help you stay organized. Also, we found it interesting that the average number of wedding guests is 120. How many guests are you having at your big day? Learn more interesting wedding details in the infographic below. And don’t forget to check out our 2015 Newlywed Report for lots of helpful info!

One of the first (of a million) questions you’ll be asked after you get engaged is: “Have you set a date?” The “when” question is a big one, so we asked 6,000 couples to share when they got engaged and married. Turns out May through October is the most popular time of year to get married (no huge shock there), but June wins the prize for the most popular month to wed—with 16% of 2015 weddings occurring in June. And the most popular month to get engaged? Turns out the holiday season is also prime engagement season—December takes the cake, with 16% of 2015 engagements happening in December. Check out our infographic below and our 2015 Newlywed Report to learn more.

We took a look at North Carolina and Colorado’s wedding data, and created the handy infographic below. Happy Super Bowl Weekend (and happy wedding planning, too)!
