Dawn has been coordinating weddings since 1996. She had always been touted as "THE" planner, but she had always done it with her heart and soul; combining her love for planning and coordinating events with a business seemed to be against the foundation of her passion. She realized the need for her services and the value of having a business to help share her knowledge and services, and she founded Your Very Own Fairy Godmother Wedding & Event Coordination in 2002.

She soon found with a rapidly growing list of clients, that in order to provide the level of service on which she had always prided herself, she needed assistance from others that shared the same vision for clients and enthusiasm for the industry. Within 18 months, her team became the fastest growing event planning and consulting firm in the Central Texas area, and she has trained each team member herself.
