History

Growing up my mom always has a camera in hand and as the old saying goes... like mother, like daughter. By the time I was a freshman in high school I was shooting with my mom's old 35mm camera and learning every aspect about photography. I spent countless hours in the darkroom and by my spring semester senior year the only class I was taking was photography... all day, everyday. After graduation I lived in a place called "denial" about what to do for a career even though everyone was telling me to pursue photography. Instead I waited tables until a job was offered to me working for SCG Productions as a wedding video editor. About a year and half later this Colombian girl met an country boy, Kurtis, and so our story began. We dated, he proposed, and so we married. After over four years and 100+ wedding video edits it was time to make a change. I finally decided give the photography biz my best shot with my adoring husbands keen eye and support.

Here's a little bit more info about us:

* ~ This past July we welcomed our son into the world, Joshua Montgomery Cagle... or Mini-Kurtis.
* ~ We're obsessed with our Siberian Huskies... Mckawley & Colombia.
* ~ If we had more free time... Kurtis would love to go sit at a bar, drink a cold one, and mingle with strangers... no joke. I would love to catch up on months worth of scrapbooking and have a girls night out. As new parents, we would both love a 3-day nap but we'd settle for a trip to the dog park!
* ~ We have a ridiculously large circle of friends... for two reasons... Kurtis has never met a stranger and never will, he's constantly make new friends and I on the other hand keep in touch with everyone I have ever met, even if I never get to see them. So be careful... you may get stuck with two new friends by hiring us!
