WindStar Gardens creates an atmosphere of tranquility that lifts you from the stress of everyday life.  When you step onto the grounds, you discover a little piece of paradise in the desert, a beautiful unique venue designed to make your occasion most memorable.

Not long ago, this rural oasis was a working cotton farm operated by the Cook family.  Purchased from
Mrs. Cook in March of 2004 and opened as WindStar Gardens in February of 2006.  Our vision; to create a garden facility, designed to host a variety of events.  A facility that the community can be proud of and enjoy for many generations to come. 

Our staff of hospitality professionals will work very hard to ensure your experience is the very best.

WindStar Gardens is located on the southwest corner of 85th Avenue and Olive near the 101 Highway in Peoria, Arizona. Our facility is approximately 2 acres of grass and trees with many outdoor options. The bride’s room, fireside parlor, a hospitality room and a warm-and-serve kitchen are in one building. A second building houses the banquet hall with triple French doors which open onto a large patio complete with a beautiful carved stone fountain. We can seat approximately 100 guests theater style or 75 guests banquet style indoors and about 250 guests with an outdoor or combination indoor/outdoor setting.

When you host an event here, it is completely private. We book only one event at a time so you have full use of the entire property and we will stage it however you choose. Your imagination is your only limitation.  We are open every Tuesday from 5 PM to 8 PM for tours and other days by appointment.  Additional information is available on our web site at www.windstargardens.com

Windstar Gardens is the perfect venue for your wedding. The building and grounds are beautiful, but what makes this place spectacular is the women who own and run the establishment. Lois is the main contact and she goes out of her way to make sure that everything is perfect for you on your special day. WindStar Gardens is very accomodating. Our clients can just "rent the space" and do everything else themselves or we can provide partial services or we can provide an all-inclusive. We truly want our clients to have the freedom to use their imagination and create events that are memorable and special to them.
 
Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?
If a couple is having their ceremony and reception here, we offer a 10% discount off our published party rates for the rehearsal dinner.
 
Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?
Multiple wedding areas including a Gazebo, Pergola, Fountain and more. Unity candle holder, kneeling bench, sound system with microphone for minister and special music.
 
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
Yes, we can provide any equipment needed.
 
What is your staff-to-guest ratio?
Depends on the event and the type of services requested.
 
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
No but we do have a great group of affiliates that we can refer her to.
 
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?

Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
We have a beautiful bride's dressing room and a room that groomsmen can use. These are included in the facility rental.
 
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
Yes, with an insured bartender to serve it.

More than enough.

Candles must be in glass, no birdseed, confetti or artifical flower "petals"

We book only one event at a time. Very private.

Security is included in our wedding reception packages and available for a fee for events other than wedding receptions. Security is required when alcoholic beverages are served.

Appropriate attire is determined by our clients for their events.
 
Can you provide a coat check?
Depending on the event and space requirements we could. Usually not required in Arizona.
