Waterford at Springfield features five spectacular ballrooms, two pre-function rooms (each with a cozy fireplace) and a spacious Grand Hallway with imported fountain and beautiful waterwall.  Our function space includes the second largest ballroom in Fairfax County. Strategically located near the intersection of the Beltway, I-395 and I-95, the magnificent new facility features the same outstanding service, delectable cuisine and elegant décor made famous since 2000 by Waterford at Fair Oaks.

How many people does the space *comfortably* accommodate? 800 with dance floor, 1000 without dance floor

How does your venue determine the cost of the space? Per Person

Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners? Yes. The rehearsal dinner package can be found on our website at www.waterfordreceptions.com. It is a 3 hour package including food for $29.50 per person.

Do you offer an on-site wedding consultant? Yes

Do you offer additional items for the ceremony? Tables, chairs, risers, bridal suite, piano.

What is your staff-to-guest ratio? 1:15

Do you require brides to use a specific list of vendors? No, we do have a recommended vendor list, but you are more than welcome to introduce us to new vendors.

Do you require the wedding party to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is there an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians? No

Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion? No

Do you provide your own catering? If yes, can a bride opt to use an outside caterer if she prefers? Yes we provide our own catering. If the bride would like to bring in outside catering she must get special permission from Waterford and the Fairfax County Health Department.

Do you have a liquor license? Yes

Can the bride provide her own alcohol if desired? Must get special permission

How many power outlets does the venue have? Over 20

What restrictions are there (if any) on decorations? No confetti, tape or staples

What restrictions are there (if any) on music? Waterford does not permit club speakers in the facility. The music volume may not exceed 80dbs.

What restrictions are there (if any) on attire? No jeans

If your site is in a public location, is the couple required to get any permits? No

Do you have liability insurance? Yes

Does your venue often accommodate more than one wedding at a time? Yes

Do you offer security, if requested? Yes; a Fairfax County Police Officer can be present for $50 an hour.

What is your dress code? No jeans
