How would you identify your photographic style?
Our style is a blend of photojournalistic, editorial, and traditional. We like to capture the events of the day, without controlling the wedding. Genuine expressions, authentic emotions, and a relaxed approach to the day allow us to tell the story or your wedding, without taking you away from the celebration.
|
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
With our in house graphic designers, we can provide custom products in addition to an extensive line of creative images.

Since we cannot control the weather, we are experienced in working with all lighting conditions.

Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital.

VIP sends one senior photographer, and one associate photographer to cover each wedding.

Yes.
|
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
A full equipment case, including backup cameras, lenses, and flash equipment.
|
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Absolutely. It would be crazy to photograph a wedding without having extra equipment in case something breaks.
|
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Our wedding packages include full-day coverage.
|
Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal?
It is preferred to have a meal provided, but not required. We eat when we know that we will not be missing important moments during your reception.

How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day?
None.

Do you charge for travel?
We cover southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois for no travel fee. Travel outside these regions should be discussed in further detail.

The 4x6" prints are placed in an album for the bride and groom to keep.
|
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, but we will provide a release form if the digital negatives are purchased.
|
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, but we are always open to special requests and will address publication concerns on an individual basis.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple?
Yes. The cost of the digital negatives depends on which package is selected by the bride and groom.
|
Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery?
Yes. Images will be posted to a private gallery approximately 2 weeks after the date of the wedding.
|
What kind of albums do you offer?
Traditional Art Leather albums, and digital flush mount albums.
|
When will I get the final book?
The delivery of our 4x6" albums is generally 2-3 weeks after the wedding. If a traditional or digital album is purchased, the delivery time is dependent on how long it takes for the bride and groom to select images and approve the album design.
|
How long does it take to deliver a book?
The delivery of an album depends on how much time the bride and groom choose to spend on image selection. There is no pressure to rush the selection, and we will carefully design the album and deliver it as soon as possible.
