Virtuous Events, LLC is a full service event planning company that specializes in wedding and event design. We are currently based out of Marina Shores at Dune Harbor in Portage, Indiana. Virtuous Events develops wedding and event designs to fit each client's personal style and budget. Our work depends completely on you budget and what style of event you would like to create. We offer a comprehensive budgetary breakdown that illustrates where each budgeted dollar should be allocated. From there, we are able to make vendor suggestions, venue recommendations, develop customized color and design concepts and inevitably reach a conclusive event design theme. To ease the hassle of finding and contracting with several separate vendors, we offer a variety of rentals and services in-house. Event design is our absolute passion. We create unique, customized event experiences as no single person is the same, nor is any event design alike. We celebrate the personalities of our clients that enable us to creatively illustrate their styles in design schemes that are chic, whimsical, elegant, playful, or trendy.

How did wedding planner make your day special?
Tasha and Lauren were great at developing the overall design of our event. I was totally lost when it came to the look I wanted our wedding day to have. From helping design a custom logo, menus, programs, centerpieces, and much more... it was like they were inside my head and knew exactly what I wanted! Everyone to this day is still raving that is was one of the most amazing wedding they have ever been too!

Useful suggestions, tips, wisdom your planner offered?
Again the overall look and design... I never would have thought we could afford our own logo or a fancy candy buffet and they were able develop that for us and stay in our budget

How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla?
Since our wedding was a "destination wedding" for both families Tasha and Lauren made sure all our guest were taken care of; setting up the hospitality room at the hotel so people had a place to hang out between the wedding and receptions, making sure the shuttles got everyone where they needed to be, and keeping everyone on time! We had many issues the our hotel (not having rooms blocked, losing reservations) and reception venue (overcharging and not much selection in linens) and Tasha and Lauren took care of it all and made sure our day went off without a hitch without costing an absolute fortune!!!

Value of a wedding planner?
I can not say enough about the two of them. They know every detail there is to take care of. They worked their butts off for us. We used them as a day of planner and from the moment we hired them we did not regret it. While most brides are freaking out the week before their wedding I was totally at ease and enjoyed every moment since I knew I had two extremely talent professionals taking care of everything. If you are looking for a planner you found the right ones. Our family will continue to use them in the future for weddings and baby showers! They rock!

My wedding day was effortless! With the help of Tasha and Lauren all I had to do was enjoy the day with friends and family. It was wonderful not having to worry about anything.

Tasha helped so much in the design area. I had an idea of what I wanted for my wedding, and she made it happen, all while staying in budget. She had so many ideas for saving money without sacrificing style.

How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla?
Tasha and Lauren took care of everything that needed to be done, including calling to remind me of appointments, attending appointments, picking out decor, and most importantly staying on budget!

Value of a wedding planner?
Enjoying my wedding day to the fullest! I never had to assign duties to our families or friends, so they also had a stress-free day.

Where do I even begin? From the decor, to details in every single item, to being there every sec i needed anything, it was amazing.

Useful suggestions, tips, wisdom your planner offered?
They offered all their suggestions,& tips... It was amazing how much advice and knowledge they had to offer on every subject. The biggest suggestion that was absoultely amazing was the birch branch tree, where the guests hung their cards on, instead of a boring everyday, wedding card box :-) it was awesome & a big hit at the wedding!

How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla?
haha they reduced it a lot, i was worry, stress-free 90% of the time!

Value of a wedding planner?
you won't regret it, if you are thinking how am I going to get this done? I can't afford to have the wedding of my dreams, think again, tasha and lauren can make it happen!

Décor? Decorations? Theme of your wedding?
The theme of our wedding was Winter Wonderland. Our colors were: teal/silver/and blue colors. The colors that Tasha helped us pick out were beautiful together. We had Tall birch branch centerpieces w/lovely snowflakes hanging from the braches... the chairs were silver with a beautiful wrapped white and silver decorated sash wrapped around them :-) Snowflakes and pinecones with glitz and glamour hanging from the ceiling! I could go on and on!

How was your wedding unique, personalized?
Our invitations were custom made with our engagement photo. We had a personalized wedding logo on them as well. They were beauitfully designed and totally custom!

How did staff meet your personal wedding style needs?
Anything I had in mind, they made reality...

Favorite wedding decoration, design element?
My favorite decoration was our Personalized candy table for the guests. It had our wedding logo on each of the candy vases, and a white chocolate fountain w/personalized little baggies for all the guests to have a taste of our special day!
