Be sure to always have a Trial Run with your perspective makeup and hair artist prior to your big day.  The last thing you want are surprises on your wedding day.

Asking for references is a good idea when booking artists for your wedding day, when one bride is happy with someone's services...it's important to understand and know why.

Think about having your makeup artist stay on during the reception...it's important that he or she keeps you looking great from ceremony to reception, especially since the photographer is booked that entire time.  Rule of thumb:  as long as your photographer is taking pictures, your makeup artist needs to be touching you up and keeping you camera perfect!
