Tips and Advice

Tips before our two-hour consultation - which is always of no charge or obligation...and we come to you:

1. Bring a portfolio of ideas and pictures that you want to incorporate into your wedding. It can be in a professional wedding binder or in a regular 3-ring binder. You will purchase so many different wedding magazines, so it's good to cut out what you like and store them in a binder. During our consultation will review your ideas and pictures and discuss your vision.

2. Determine an initial budget. This will be difficult task between you and your fiance, but it is necessary. Throughout the planning process your budget can always be revised based on vendor/item costs. Let's say that you budgeted $1000 for flowers, but we were able to purchase flowers for $800. The extra $200 can be put back in your budget and used toward another wedding finance. If you have a number, then I can usually create a itemized budget based on that.

3. Create an initial guest list. Your initial list can consist of close family and friends that you are pretty confident that they will attend. An estimated number will help us determine the size of wedding venue that would seat your guests comfortably.

4. Decide on a package that suits your lifestyle. If you know that you have a busy career, maybe kids and additional responsibilities - then a Day-Of Wedding Package may not be for you. Realistically determine what you can handle and what you can't. Instead, think about a Partial Wedding Package that may be better suited for you.

5. Prepare your questions and concerns. During your consultation we can answer any questions or concerns that you may have regarding our business, the wedding process and payments.

6. Think about a Friday or Sunday wedding. Typically, most venues and vendors will provide you with a discounted rate for these days. If your budget does not allow an expensive venue then a Friday or Sunday wedding would be the most beneficial; and you can use any extra funds toward food or entertainment!
