Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Describe your DJ style:
Fun and professional without being rude, obnoxious, or cheesy.
What is your usual attire?
Tuxedos unless the client specifies otherwise (themed or non-formal wedding, for example)
How many other DJs do you work with?
There are 8 DJs that work for Ultimate Nights.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Of course!
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We arrive approximately 90 minutes before the start time that you specify. We do require a table be provided. Most halls will automatically set up a table for the DJ.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We will emcee/announce all of the special events throughout the reception (Introduction of the bridal party, cake cutting, formal dances, bouquet/gater toss, Dollar Dance, etc.). As for talking between songs, the client gets to choose how much talking we do. We can be as low-key or as outgoing as you want, although we won't be the cheese-ball out on the floor teaching your guests how to do the Macarena. It's all up to you!
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
While a meal is always appreciated, it is not required. If you do provide us with a meal we will keep the music playing while we eat.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We will only book up to 6 events per date so that there are always 2 backup DJs and 2 sets of backup equipment in case of an emergency.
