   • Yes, Dr. Ruben Begino is a graduate of UC San Francisco School of Dentistry 2001. He will be administering the treatment and will assist you with all your dental concerns throughout the experience.

Optimum Healthy Oral Tips:

1) When in need of brushing but having no access to a nearby toothbrush and toothpaste, eat an apple to remove buildup on your teeth. This will help keep them clean temporarily unti you can get to actual brushing.

2) Take-home teeth whitening yields the most stable and long-lasting results. In-office/1-hour teeth whitening yields more immediate results but will not last as long. Take-home treatments also are the most cost-effective.

3) Over-the-counter whitening strips may cause sensitivity due to exposure to your gum. They're also messy and do not stay in place. You need a customized tray that molds to your teeth to keep the whitening gel working on the right spots.

4) Wear your retainers diligently if you had braces before, regardless of how long ago it was. Your teeth have the tendency to move forward naturally, so they will always want to do that unless you keep them in line using night retainers. It does not matter how long ago you had braces; your teeth will continue to move if you do not use retainers.

5) Get your teeth cleaned at least twice a year, regardless of how often the cleaning is covered by your dental insurance. Do not be limited by your insurance plan at the expense of your oral health.
