Describe your DJ style:
Interactive but not a game show host. We act as a catalyst for the guests to have a good time.
What is your usual attire?
Tuxedo unless told otherwise.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
We explore all options, but with over 60,000 songs in a master computer library, this almost never happens.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We book 3 MC's for Weddings.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Whatever is required. Most receptions start at 4 hours.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Some mainstream ethnic music is available across all genres, but nothing too extreme.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, with multiple wireless microphones and even a smaller sound system for ceremony if needed at NO additional cost.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We offer some items not available anywhere else including, "Dancing Under The Stars" Laser, "Dancing On A Cloud" Low Level Fog Machine, Atmosphere Lighting, & Rear-projection Video Screens for Photomontages.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
About 45-60 minutes. Yes, we need at least 1 table with linens for setup and access to power.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No, as a matter of fact our systems are some of the smallest in the professional market. We require less space than most DJ's.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Yes, but not between all of the songs. We don't want to be radio DJ's.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Most clients provide a meal for staff and it is appreciated, but even when this is an option the staff take turns with no breaks in the music or action.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
N/A
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Of course, but that has only happened three times in 19 years, and we perform at over 300 events annually.
What is your overtime rate?
$100 for the Solo DJ package, and $150 for the more popular DJ/MC (2 Staff) package.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Travel within 45 minutes of Marlborough, MA is included. Outside of that, travel is based on distance. 45 minutes to 90 minutes away is usually $75-$100.
