Are you a commercial studio or a home-based business?
We are a commercial studio located at 1 International Blvd, Mahwah New Jersey at the Crossroads where 287, 87 and route 17 meet.
What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
All our DVDs are tightly edited with multiple cameras and special effects. Unedited raw footage is available however.
Describe any special editing services you offer:
We are experienced video editors, and will piece together a tasteful recap of the day's events. Music selections of your choice can accompany the video. Plus we utilize a number of video effects to accentuate key moments -- things like slow motion and the use of black and white sequences versus color. Your finished DVD will be "broadcast quality."
In our editing suite, we use an Apple G5 Mac Pro computer, Sony editing deck, and FinalCut Pro video editing software.
This combination of top-of-the-line pre- and post-production equipment guarantees you a broadcast quality product that will very likely "turn heads" when you show it to friends and family. With the end product on a digital video disk (DVD), you'll have a product that you'll be proud to show for years to come.
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
Absolutely, we use natural lighting whenever and wherever possible. All our cameras are very high end commercial grade that can shoot in low light and if needed they have on board lighting available.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
On location, we use Canon broadcast quality cameras and Azden wireless microphones to capture every scene, every image, and every sound that takes place at your wedding. We have some very specialized equipment available, including a Glidecam stabilization system that enables us to shoot perfectly smooth video while going up or down a staircase, or walking or running with the wedding couple.
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
We have spare batteries and backups for every piece of critical equipment.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Our breaks are taken when the events going on allow one. While on break the camera is rolling making sure we don't miss a beat.
Do you charge overtime?
We have an overtime charge for time needed over eight hours. Usually this is not the case. Any overtime is signed off with your agreement.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
Raw footage is available within a week or two for a small fee.
Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for promotions, contents, etc.?
We do reserve the right to use a video for future promotions and website samples. If you are sensitive about our use of your video, we will void this in our agreement.
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
It usually takes us four to six weeks to produce a finished wedding video.
