About Us
Established in 1926, the Breakers Hotel was described by a Los Angeles Times staff writer as a “structure of ultra-Spanish architecture.” It was adorned with lavish decorations surrounding the doorway and lobby, a rooftop garden, a saltwater pool at basement level and a broadcasting station located in the tower. Standing 15 stories tall as the most prominent building in the area, the original Breakers Hotel was later sold to Conrad Hilton. As the eighth Hilton chain, the 1938 reopening occurred in time to entertain the servicemen brought to Today, The Sky Room has preserved history by encompassing an art-deco design, live entertainment on the dance floor, a romantic ambience and a spectacular 360-degree view of the city’s skyline and Along with our positive history of successful weddings, the Sky Room has been recognized with the following awards
