All cakes are made using the freshest ingredients possible.
 
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
1 - 3 days depending on the size and design.
 
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
Average of 3 - 4 cakes depending on the size and difficulty.
 
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
I'm always happy to work with your florist or other wedding professional.
 
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?
I offer a variety of cake stands, plateaus and fountains.
 
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
Delivery and set-up fee can range between $45.00 - $125.00 depending on the location.

Tips and Advice

Rhonda at Tasty Layers has this tip for you.
Keep in mind that the size of the cake you order depends largely on how you’re serving it.  If you plan to have waitstaff serve your guests individually, then you need to order at least the same number of servings that you’re ordering for catering.  If you plan to have your caterer slice the cake and present it on a table for guests to help themselves, then you can get away with ordering a little less cake.
