Tasso Strings, formerly The Orchid String Trio, was founded out of a mutual love for chamber music and a desire to make classical music accessible to all.  We started out as a duo, expanded to a trio, and now in order to allow us the freedom to do more gigs and be more versatile, our group consists of a number of musicians and we play different combinations of both Trios and Duos for weddings and events. 

Outside of our musicianship, what we pride ourselves on the most is our open, honest communication.  There is nothing worse than putting down a deposit and finding your vendor is suddenly not as communicative or helpful as before. We respond to all e-mails within 24 hours (usually faster), and are available to talk on the phone whenever you have a question or concern.

Our cellist, Michelle, was married in September 2011, and she has remarked that one continually frustrating thing about the planning was that vendors didn't list prices on their website.  Almost everyone uses a budget to plan their wedding, and we will always make our prices publicly available so that you know if we fit in yours.
