Are there any special characteristics about this venue such as scenery or architecture?
We are located at 3656 Trousdale Dr. off of I-65 and Harding which is called the Designer District. Our bulding boasts 4000 sq. ft. that can accommodate up to 125 guests. We are an art gallery, therefore, we naturally provide a beautiful surrounding of a variety of artists.
How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
Rates vary upon the type of event, number of guests and requirements, although we will say that our rates are very reasonable and affordable.

Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?
All that we offer is the decor - after all, you are in an art gallery, so art is part of the ambiance. You can even choose certain art to place in the area of your event, usually chosen from your gift registry.
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?

What is your staff-to-guest ratio?
In general, one to two for every 40 guests.
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
No, you do not have to use our event planner. You may use your own event planner, vendors, caterers, etc.
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
Not at all, on both counts. You're welcome to bring in your own entertainment, however, we reserve the right to deny them access if we feel that they are too rough, loud or may draw people to be of a not so cordial or social behavior. Same for anyone applying to rent our venue. Very young, loud, party-hardy groups are discouraged from renting our venue.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?

Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
Yes.
How many power outlets does the venue have?
Plenty for an normal occassion.
What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
We feel that since this is an art gallery, there is decor, naturally, therefore, the only necessary decor is usually only needed for the tables, bar areas and buffet areas. We restrict decorating around the art displays as well as on the walls where the art is hung. You may choose certain pieces of your choice to be displayed in the area of your party which are usually part of the gift registry choices made beforehand by the bride and groom.
What restrictions (if any) on photography?
None of any consequence, usually, however, we reserve the right to make restrictions, accordingly, ie. certain pieces of art or areas of the building that might be private.
What restrictions (if any) on videography?
None except as indicated for photography.
What restrictions (if any) on music?
We reserve the right to maintain a certain order, meaning, not to have music too loud or the performers too out of hand. Also, this is an old building, therefore our electrical capacity is a bit restricted so that very large bands with too many musicians or amps, etc. would have to be pruned down, so to speak.
What restrictions (if any) on attire?
Clothing required, please. Artistic attire, welcome!
What restrictions (if any) on noise levels?
Reasonable in that the sound waves stay mostly in the building, thank you. No Woofers, ok, thanks.
If your site is in a public location, is the client required to get any permits?
Yes. Please call our gallery at 615-244-4642 and we'll fax or mail you a copy of the agreement, which is a standard requirement in renting a downtown venue, or call our event specialist, Randi, at 615-662-3539 for details. The cost is minimal, yet necessary.
Does your venue often accommodate more than one event at a time?

What is your dress code?
Be comfortable, be original, be artistic, be happy - just don't come nude. We're in Nash Vegas, not Brazil.
