A Sweet Soiree Events specializes in Event Planning and Design servicing the Washington, DC Metro area and beyond. We also create custom stationery, from design concept through production.
A Sweet Soiree Events exists because we are special-moment-aholics. We are proud that our dedicated and detailed work results in smiles on peoples’ faces and unsurpassed lasting memories for a lifetime. We wholeheartedly give our clients our knowledge, expertise, and most importantly, a mirrored passion for their event. Lastly, we thrive on the strong, interpersonal relationships that we build (both figuratively and literally) through the events that we create. Courtney, owner and CEO (Chief Event Officer), is a fun and fabulous business owner, wife, mommy, and friend. She is hopelessly addicted to all things paper, actually enjoys Excel spreadsheets, and gets giddy to make, and then check-off, to-do lists!  Our Vows To Have and to Hold……your visions, hopes, fears, joy, and excitement about your day as if it were our very own. For Better or for Worse……though with our insight, expertise, and knowledge your plans will be for the better. If one of my kids needed a wedding planner, I'd call Courtney.
I had the good fortune of photographing a wedding recently for which Courtney was the coordinator. Her prep work was highly detailed and accurate, and her "day of" attention to detail was remarkable. She was everywhere at once, but only noticeable if you were looking for her. Otherwise she tended to every last detail in her quiet, efficient way. When interpersonal drama struck the bridal party, Courtney was cool, calm, and prepared, diffusing the situation quickly to the client's satisfaction. When strong thunderstorms threatened the outdoor reception, Courtney was on top of things with her constant weather checks, coordination with the facilities manager, and her indoor "Plan B". I am confident that Courtney can deliver an enjoyable, high quality event under any circumstances. As a vendor, I appreciated Courtney's precise coordination, open communications, and accessibility. She made sure that we, along with the DJ and videographers, were well taken care of. Most of all, I value Courtney's work ethic. Like me, Courtney puts in the time, effort, and planning to make sure that every client is delighted with their event. I look forward to working with Courtney again! |
