Courtney Swierczek, owner of A Sweet Soiree began the idea of this service in 2006 and "took the plunge" into operation in 2008.

Our sole mission is to create meaningful, lasting memories for all of life's special events.

We do this by listening and learning our clients' wants and needs and adopting those desires as our own.

Whether you need a full range of services or simply assistance on the day of the event, we can handle it all with utmost effectiveness and efficiency.

Our Business
A Sweet Soiree was born out of a dream, just like our Events. The dream began through and while planning my very own wedding. The building of a fantastic and elaborate vision into fruition, and the delight and excitement of the guests truly ignited a passion and a desire to extend the same experience to my clients.

I look forward to establishing strong collaborations with new clients willing to share their dreams and special moments with me, and in turn, molding unending memories through a spectacular event.

Who We Are
Courtney received a Bachelors and Masters of Sport Management from West Virginia University. She has a strong background in Human Resources which grew from her love of working with people. Additionally, she has extensive experience in budget planning and maintenance which lends itself to assisting clients obtain their dream while providing value and financial management.

Her education provided a profound emphasis on customer service, detailed and organized planning resources, budget maintenance, contract negotiation and review and an admiration of seeing an event grow from idea to actuality, which can directly attribute to the success of your next Event!

Parkway Florist Inc.	While this is a new vendor to the wedding & event planning business, she is not really "new". We helped her & provided flowers for her wedding in 2006. She was a very, very detailed person, who took copious notes. Very well organized, and very good on her follow-thru. As I vendor, I expect she will be just as detailed and professional, and will make planning an event very easy! she has "been there, done thaat!"
