Sweet Charleston Designs aspires to honor historical art forms with our elegant luxury jewelry designs.  Our first series of collections pay tribute to Sweet Grass Basketry, an ancient art form found today in an area known as the Lowcountry.

Inspired by the traditional "fanner basket" brought to the American colonies by enslaved persons from West Africa, our first collections known as the Sewee Bay Collection reflects the fanner basket used in Rice Harvest.  Custom crafted in sterling silver and hand-woven with 18k gold, our pendants, earrings, necklaces and rings offer as special touch of Lowcountry elegance.  The complimentary Bulls Bay Collection is custom cast in sterling silver on silver and dazzles customers with the accuracy of detail.
