Will and Lisa McDowell of Studio M Photographic are a husband and wife photography and graphic design team that specialize in capturing timeless romantic images.

Will is known for his easygoing wit and his ability to capture bigger than life images incorporating stunning architecture, beautiful brides and photos that allow grooms to look handsome and debonaire. Will’s biggest inspiration comes from many of the classic Life photographers. “When I see an image of something so simple, like the goose bumps on the arm of a woman in the 1940’s I think - that’s it, we are all alike, it’s the human element that connects us. The year, the time, the space, none of that really separates us.”

Lisa is known for her sweet demeanor and her ability to capture delicate details, fleeting moments and photos that capture the spirit of the wedding day participants.
“I love the couples we work with, I actually fall in love with them a little bit. I care about their story, their families and capturing their wedding in the most beautiful manner. Every photograph I take is from my heart, but not because I love the image, but rather because I know they will love it.”

Together, Lisa and Will create a bit of magic with their photography. Both strong in their own right, bringing talents, gifts and a unique eye to everything they do. Both feel strongly that the wedding day is sacred and strive to be as unobtrusive as possible throughout the day. After the capture, Will prepares all wedding images and is a craftsman in creating sometimes raw, and other times smooth and velvety, black and white compositions, while always maintaining an eye towards beautiful imagery. Lisa takes the final image collection and crafts custom wedding books based on the personality of the couple and their vision for the day; creating a uniquely personalized wedding day story each and every time.
