Strawberry Milk Event Design Studio was born out of the desire that style conscious brides would have a skilled professional event planner - that does so much more than just plan. Using our team’s strong sense of style and interior design background, as well as expertise in catering and event management, we like to consider ourselves more of an event design studio with planning services. So leave addressing envelopes and calling the baker to your average planner (not that we won't handle that too.) But contact us if you want your party to be a sweet success, and look yummy too!

ABOUT THE PLANNER:
Julie Savage has been immersed in the creative design world ever since she can remember. Her father is the owner of a nationally recognized interior design firm based in the Washington DC metro area. From a young age she remembers attending and participating in designers showcases with some of the biggest names in the industry at DC Embassies. At DHS she would work on home design projects for clients in the NBA, NFL and prominent politicians. She frequented Paris and the French countryside on international buying trips where she fell in love with the sophisticated beauty and romance of the French culture.

Later she joined a wedding planning firm in DC as a bridal consultant where she fell in love with planning the most romantic and important day in a couples lives. From there she went on to be Wedding Sales Manager & Event Coordinator for a hotel downtown where she gained extensive catering and event management experience. It's was there that she began to notice something when clients brought in a third party planner. Typically the planner was good when it came to organization and vendor relations - but that was it. They just couldn’t give the wedding or event that WOW factor. It was then she realized that just because someone is great at organization doesn’t mean they are a good designer. Most planners can’t help you transform a space into something magazine worthy.
