My husband and I had our engagement and wedding photos done by Soul Slate Photography and we couldn’t be happier. On Sarah and Tim’s blog they state: what if instead dreading getting your picture taken, you actually look forward to it? What if it was – dare I say it – “fun”? And what if the smiles in your photos were genuine, not forced? That’s what is important to us. They lived up to their promise!

We took an immediate liking to Sarah and Tim. We left our consultation knowing that our photos were one less thing we would have to worry about on our wedding day and they did not disappoint. They gave direction without being pushy, but they also listened to what we wanted (a must as there is nothing worse than a photographer who doesn’t listen). At our pre-wedding meeting I specifically asked that they get a good picture of my camera-shy, mother-in-law and low and behold they delivered a beautiful, smiling mother-in-law (a huge feat considering she never smiles in photos!).

They caught some very special moments (the look on my husbands face as I walked into the church, my father and mother tearing up just before they gave me away, my brothers jokingly giving my new husband a hard time, etc.).

Both our engagement and wedding photos were delivered quickly. The slide show was an added bonus (it made my husband and I tear up and I can just see us playing it for our guests down the road at an anniversary party). I could go on and on! My husband and I will not hesitate to use them again for any future photos.
