We are a dedicated, knowledgeable staff here to assist you and help make your wedding day dreams come true. We offer wedding/eent planning, coordination, consulting, wedding day ceremony direction, cakes, invitations, floral arrangements, decorating/setup services from start to finish services or Ala Cart (traditional floral decorations and balloon decorations), Rental items available and Nondenominational minister services. Proudly  serving the wedding industry for 10 years. Let the staff of Silk Expressions save you time, money and let you be the guest of honor at your wedding, instead of the host of your wedding.

 

Why should you hire a wedding planner?

 

On average, a bride, family, and friends spend over 200 hours or more planning a wedding. Stress levels become high and feelings can be hurt. Without a wedding planner, all the stress, questions and details are left up to the bride, groom, and/or their family members, which is a lot of unnecessary stress on your wedding day. 

A wedding planner allows you to be the guest of honor at your wedding, rather than the host of your wedding. During the busiest times of your special day there are a lot of details that need attention and many questions will arise.

 

Why should I hire a decorator for my wedding/event?

Alot of time and effort is put into decorating your wedding/event site. Time that you should be spending with family, friends and enjoying pre wedding activities, instead of worring over getting the decorating done in time, climbing ladders, seeing to everything is delivered on time and is in place. Stress is usually high at this time, you worry about every detail and this is where we can help. We do traditional decorating(floral) as well as balloon decorating. We offer afforadble rates and a knowledgable staff. 

We offer 4 diffrent set ups for when we make your cake. We deliever and set your cake up at the specified time you have requested. Our staff has been making cakes (wedding, birthdays and other events) for over 7 years. No cake is too large or too small.

We have rental items such as choupla's, arches, backdrops to enhance any area you wish to make a dramatic statement, tables, linnen, table decorations, We have a staff that will install large swags from the celing to give that elgant look to your reception site.
A large amount of money can go into purchasing your table decorations. On average a bride will spend anywhere from $15.00 up to $75.00 on table decorations alone. Why spend a large amount on decorations when you can rent them?

We carry Carlson's Crafts invitations for you to purchase or we can have your invitations made by an associate of Silk Expressions. The first impression your guest has of your wedding is your Invitation. It tells your guest the formality and gives them a glimps of what to expect when they attend your wedding.

Our staff is trained in wedding planning, Cakes,and decoration. The owner of Silk Expression is the instructor for Wedding Planning at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro NC. You not only get trained staff but you get an instructor in the field of wedding planning and over 10 years of expirence in Weddings, Events and decorations. We pride ourselves in our commiment to the wedding industry and to our clients.

As we meet with you, we will learn all the details of your wedding and reception as you have planned them. We will help guide you through planning your wedding to ensure your wedding goes as smoothly as possible. We can offer decorating services,invitations, floral arrangements, setup/dismantle services, decorating services and officiate services (non denominational)

 

Unlike others, we do not book 2-3 wedding each weekend. We are a dedicated, knowledgeable staff that is committed to our clients receiving the best service we can provide. We will not over book events that could take away our attention from you as our client.

We let you be the guest of honor at your wedding , instead of being  the host of your wedding. We are your one stop shop from the time you say yes throught the day you say I DO. We offer decorating services, set up of venue area with rental items and dismantel of  venue, invitations, cakes, and floral arrangements. 

The staff of Silk Expressions has 10 years of expirence in the wedding/event industry. We specialize in making your wedding day rememorable. we offer knowledgeable staff, friendly service and concentrate you as our client. We do not book several events  on the same day- we believe in giving you our clien our full attention,
