Tips and Advice
Hello! If you're reading this, then you are in the process of making a very important decision- choosing who will photograph your wedding day.

Your decision isn't made any easier by the fact that there are so many "photographers' out there to choose from. So, we'd like to offer some professional advice to help you know what to look for and what questions to ask when looking for a professional.

We usually tell our clients that the most important thing is that you love the photographer's work, closely followed by you also need to really like the photographers as well. After all, they will be with you on a very important day, you should get along and be comfortable around them. But there are a few other very important things to look for as well.

-What makes the photographer you are considering a "professional"? Make sure photography isn't just a part time job for them. Make sure that they aren't someone who just has a nice camera and now says they are professional because they charge you to take your pictures. Anyone today can buy a nice camera and put together a website and claim they are a professional.

-Do they have a professional place to meet you, such as a studio location?

-Have they received an education in photography or taken any professional courses?

-Are they a part of any professional photography organizations?

-Do they have a business license?

-Do they have insurance?

-Ask to speak to former brides/clients and ask them about their experience.

-Contact other wedding vendors in the area such as caterers, florists, dj's, etc. and ask if they have worked with the photographer you are considering.

We know it may seem a little overwhelming, but it really is a big decision! We hope this advice guide helps lead you in the right direction. We would love to meet with you. We hope as you search for the perfect photographer you find us and give us a call. Blessings on your upcoming marriage and best wishes as you plan the wedding of your dreams!
