What is your average turnaround time, from initial contact to shipment? Depending on the print company selected,and the printing process being used, orders placed may ship within 24 hours (Many of the McPherson lines) or within 7 days for more complicated processes.

Are you able to meet clients in person to showcase your product? Yes, local clients are welcome to call 419-335-0353 for an appointment to view catalogs on site, or in their home.

Additional Questions and Answers
Do I have to write my own order?  
Absolutely not!    Penny is an experienced invitation consultant who works with each client personally and writes the order for you.  This is a service that most companies reserve only for high end products.  Consulting fees are never charged, but included in the low discounted prices you’ll pay at Quaint Wedding Stationery. Internet customers receive the same one-on-one service as brides who are local.  Penny will email back and forth with you. She’ll ask if you have selected your wording, and font style.  If not, she will make suggestions, and advise you on font selections, ink colors and wordings appropriate for your event.  You will be asked to email the particulars such as names for the invitation, time, place, etc.  Penny will then develop a layout or mock up of the invitation copy for you to see.  This process can take a few hours, or up to several days, depending on each client’s needs, and how quickly the client provides the information.  Your order is never placed until you have made the final approval and submitted payment.  Of course, if you are confident in writing and placing your order, and prefer to do so, you may on the McPherson, Carlson Craft, and Birchcraft links from my website www.quaintweddingstationery.com

How do I pay for my order?
For all orders placed with the assistance of Penny: when you have proofed and approved the copy and layout of your invitation, and enclosure cards, you will be asked your payment preference and be emailed an invoice. You may make payment via Paypal using a Credit Card or Electronic debit.  Payments received through Paypal immediately go into production and have the fastest turnaround times.  You also have the option of paying by personal check, however your order will be held until the check clears your bank, which is generally 10 days.   For orders that you place directly through the companies on my website, you will get the 25% discount at checkout, and you will receive instructions for paying via Paypal.  Please note, the shopping carts on my site may indicate shipping charges...but you are NEVER charged for shipping of an order that includes invitations.  Your invoice sent to you will be minus any shipping charges.

Can I see a sample before I order?
Brides who are local can see actual samples in the catalogs.  Call to arrange an appointment or to reserve a catalog 419-335-0353.  Actual invitation samples may also be ordered.  McPhersons offers free samples of their lines, and others may charge up to  $3 per sample.  (Brides who are charged for sample(s) by Carlson Craft or others, and later place an order will be credited the cost of the sample by Quaint Wedding Stationery.  Just mention in an email to me that you have a "sample credit."

What if there is a mistake with my order?
Your invitation (spellings) are guaranteed to be as you approved.  Penny takes every precaution during the writing and layout process to assist you in accuracy and grammar.  If you find that you made a mistake and misspelled the name of the church or address, etc. Quaint will reprint your order at a 50% discount off the retail price.  You will be charged a shipping fee for the reprinted order.  If an error was made by us, or the print company, your order will be reprinted at no additional cost for the second printing and shipped free to you. (Note: The print company may request that the incorrect invitations be returned, so do not destroy them until you hear from us.)
Notify us immediately if there is a problem with your order so that we can get it corrected for you.

Tip #1:  Never trust your wedding invitations to someone who misspells StationERY as StationARY!  Seriously...if you are considering ordering your invitations from an internet site, a florist or a bridal shop and they have misspellings on their web page or in their advertisements....how can you be assured that your invitation will be error-free? 

Tip #2: Get quotes from several invitation vendors. Be sure to compare bottom line costs. If someone is offering a larger discount....are they adding on shipping and handling charges? If so, that could wipe out any discount they may offer. 

Tip #3: Always order an additional 25 invitations when you place your order. Brides and Grooms will always think of a few who were forgotten on the guest list.  It is far less expensive to add 25 to the initial order than to reorder later.  The printer charges almost as much for the first 25 on a new order as they do for 100!


Tip #4:  Do-it-yourself is often more expensive than ordering "raised printed" invitations.  Consider the costs involved: 1) blank invitation sets, which offer only the outside envelope (the quality of the stock for DIY is often flimsy), 2) purchasing a fresh new print cartridge (or two), 3) spoilage from crooked or misfed sheets.  If you insist on DIY....please, ask someone with knowledge of proper wedding invitation etiquette to review your layout so that you can avoid errors and embarrassment.  Wedding invitation protocol dictates that full spellings be used, with a few exceptions. 
Here are a few common mistakes that brides make when designing their own invitations:
1. Having a deceased parent extend the invitation  (there are other ways of honoring a loved one, but this is not appropriate)
2. Not being consistant in spelling out times, streets, full names, etc
3. Forgetting important information, such as time of ceremony
4. Cramming too much information on the wedding invitation (ex: 4 or 5 sets of parents!)
5. Misspellings, incorrect capitalization and punctuation

Tip #4:  Your invitation sets the tone for your entire event.  This is the first glimpse of what your guests can expect on your Wedding Day.  You would never consider ordering your wedding cake from a florist, or your wedding gown from a caterer, so entrust this important detail to an invitation specialist.
