We use Final Cut Pro and the suite of programs that go along with it. Photoshop is used to design your custom DVD covers and DVD labels.
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
We use on camera lighting at reception venues only.
How many videographers do you work with?
Every package includes both of us behind cameras. If there is an emergency, we do have back up videographers who have worked with us on various projects.
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
We are a husband and wife team, of course you get to meet us. We prefer to meet you so that we can get to know you as a couple.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
We are the only two who are in our company and we both show up : )
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We only do one wedding per day. We have had a few weekends during our high season that we may have two weddings in one weekend. We do include attendance at your rehearsal in all our packages. We do not film the rehearsal, but attend to be sure we know how your ceremony is going to flow. (You do NOT include us for the rehearsal dinner count)
Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?
Yes, we have worked with several other videographers on past projects and know they do quality work.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
More like what do we not bring...the kitchen sink?
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We do not take "breaks" from your day. Even during dinner, we usually have a fork in one hand and the other one on our camera.
Do you charge overtime?
We have what we call "Relaxed Coverage". This means we are with you until your package level is complete. So relax and enjoy your day.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
Raw footage is an add on to any of our package.
Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for promotions, contents, etc.?
Yes, we retain the right to use the footage we capture for promotions. We do contact you if we enter your footage into a contest or TV Show. We have had a clip run on Wild Weddings.
Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?
We provide each couple a preview DVD. This gives you the chance to review your day and make any changes that you would like. Plus, you are the best spell checker on your Bridal Party names. Also, if you have an idea or seen something done in another video, let us know and we can use that to help create something unique for you day.
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
We strive to have your preview copy in 12 weeks. There are some options that may add time to your preview time. Final copies usually have a 2 week turn around time after you have contacted us with any changes that need to be made.
