The staff of Precious Nuptials and Events specializes in developing your particular wedding vision and molding it to fit your particular budget and location specifications. Although we pride ourselves in creating the ultimate planning experience for anyone, from local traditional to themed weddings, our specialty: Destination Weddings! "What is a destination wedding?" you ask. A destination wedding is a wedding that will take place anywhere away from your home. Whether you're traveling to the Galveston/Houston area to wed or traveling to the Caribbean for a tropical adventure, we work with local vendors to create the wedding of your dreams. Contact one of our destination wedding specialists for more information. Although we love our local brides, we understand the many details that goes into the planning and coordinating of the wedding events and guest accommodations. Because of that, we have detailed oriented staff ready to assist you at any part of the planning process.
 
What sizes of weddings have you coordinated in the past?
Small and intimate of two to large galas of two hundred, but that isn't our limit!

I am such an organized person, and so excited to begin, why do I need a coordinator?
It takes a person of many hats to successfully coordinate a wedding.  Your wedding may be the most important event of your life.  Although you may be very well capable of planning such an event, you will also need someone to negotiate contracts, suggest reputable vendors, and orchestrate the timeline of the day!  Hiring a wedding coordinator was once a luxury, but with today’s busy couples it’s now a necessity.  A coordinator will not only make sure everything flows smoothly, but will also make sure you stay on track and don’t exceed your budget.  

Won’t a coordinator take over the wedding planning process?
Not at all!  Although a coordinator will work with you throughout the process, we will not take over the planning of your day.  Our job will be to help you layout your ideas and put them into action.  We will ask qualifying questions to determine the type of event you envision and offer suggestions based upon your wedding profile.  Therefore, instead of stepping out into the thousands of vendors available, we will supply you with a few choice of vendors that we’ve personally deemed suitable for your event.
 

I don’t think my budget will allow for a coordinator.  How do I allocate the funds for your services?
In most cases, hiring a coordinator will not cost you extra money, but save you from costly mistakes that can in turn put you over your budget.  Many of our vendors offer our couples a discount on their contracted services.  We also offer our initial consultation as a complimentary service.  This allows us to sit with you and get an idea of the size and type of event you’re planning.  We can then suggest a tailored package to fit your wedding planning needs.
 

 
Can’t I utilize the service of my friends and family?
I’m sure your family and friends would be honored to assist in your wedding day.  However, they deserve to be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy your day just as you do.  Would you want you family in the kitchen and or making sure the venue is properly decorated?  Chances are you would want to know your family is at your side to give you the support and comfort you need though out the day.  Hiring a coordinator will allow everyone the flexibility of calling on a professional to handle all the details and clue in on sticky situations before a possible disaster.    
 

 
I don’t think I’ll need the services of full coordination.  Can I hire a coordinator for my rehearsal and ceremony only?
You most certainly can!  We will only sell you the services you truly need.  Our packages are built and priced to fit each unique event.

 
 
Why do you limit the number of events you contract?
We offer premier services.  It is our job to give you the best service possible.  Whether your event’s small and intimate or a lavish gala, it’s our promise to be available to each of our clients as if it’s our only.  We will never be too large; we just want to make sure that we can offer our clients the attention and specialty service each and every client has paid for.
 

 
If I hire a coordinator, will I be sure to have a perfect ceremony?
We won’t try to pull the wool over you eyes.  Have you ever heard the saying “nothing’s perfect”?  Let me be the first to break the news to you.  That’s true with weddings too!  We always strive to make each wedding a precious nuptial.  It’s our job to handle your wedding as smoothly as possible.  We will queue in on areas of concern and take care of them before they snowball.  The value in having a coordinator is the knowing fact that you won’t even have to be aware of problems at hand.  We’ll handle each situation discreetly and make the necessary adjustments to ensure that you and your guest will have the most enjoyable event possible.
 

 
Can you help me in planning a destination wedding also?
Absolutely!  We have Certified Destination Wedding Specialist on hand to assist you with every aspect of the planning process.  Don’t chance a wedding in the rain season in Hawaii.  What about hurricane season in the Caribbean?  Our Destination Wedding Specialist will not only supply you with the key information for the area of your choice, but we will also supply you with the best possible rates.  We work in conjunction with our travel division, Enjoy Travel , to ensure that the best rates are negotiated.  As with any travel agency, we also have access to all travel specials that come across the board.  Not only will we book your wedding and travel, but we will also handle your guests travel, coordinate activities, and travel with you if you’d like!
 

 
The venue I’ve chosen has an onsite coordinator; do I still need to hire my own coordinator?
Although many venues and resorts have capable coordinators on hand, they’re ultimate job is to make sure the contractual agreement between you and the venue or resort is upheld.  Although they may be capable of handling small details, they will not track down a misplaced shipment of your attendants’ attire.  Some locations book multiple events at once.  What will you do in the case of personnel change?  You may not deal with the same person who began the planning process with you.  Bottom line: who will make sure all of your needs are meet? 
 

What’s included in the initial consultation?
The initial consultation will consist of one hour.  We will review your wedding/event profile and our package selections.  We will also offer key suggestions to get you started.  At the end of the consultation, you will be supplied with a personal proposal for your event and offered the option of holding your date for one week while you make your decision.
 

 
I’ve decided that a coordinator will be a good investment.  How much will your services cost?
