How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
The cost depends on the rooms that are being rented. We can accommodate small weddings on smaller budgets (Under 60 guests) or larger weddings in our Richland Ballroom.
Do you offer any special services?
With all weddings, we provide an Event Coordinator. This person will assist you with all of your day of coordination to give all brides a stress free wedding day.
Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?
We have a special package, Vines to Vows, that includes a rehearsal dinner in the rental of the facility for your Ceremony and Reception. We have may options for rehearsal dinner rooms: Our Barrel Room, Coyote Wine Cave, Veranda, Richland Patio, and for large rehearsals, our Richland Ballroom.
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
We provide a dance floor with the rental of the Richland Ballroom. Tables and chairs are also included in your rental fees. Linens and glassware are contracted through our caterer.
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
We have two preferred caterers, 42 Degrees Catering and R & R Catering. You can still choose to bring in your own caterer (Terms and Conditions apply). Any other vendor is accepted.
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
Bride's can use any musician and there is no additional fee.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
Yes. We have many rooms available for rental.
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
Possibly. Please speak to our event coordinator regarding this.
How many power outlets does the venue have?
Many outlets all over the rooms.
What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
We ask that decorators do not bring food or drinks into the Winery.
2. Tables are set up for decorating purposes no earlier than two hours before the event upon staff arrival.
3. Candles and candelabras must be in self-contained units. The client is responsible for the cost of dry cleanings, the cost of replacing the tablecloths, and the cost of repairs due to damage from candle wax, marred walls or paint, etc.
4. Use of masking tape, artists tape, and Velcro is allowed. Use of staples, tacks, or nails is prohibited.
5. If hanging items, please use ladders rather than chairs or tabletops. Potomac Point Winery & Le Grand Cru will not assume any liability for personal injury.
6. After decorations are complete, please remove all remaining unused items, including trash, from the Winery. A vacuum cleaner and a broom are available upon request. Please leave the Winery in the same condition in which it was found.
7. Decorations and other items must be removed immediately after your event. Potomac Point Winery and Le Grand Cru cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage of any items left after the event.
8. For decorating Potomac Point Winery, you are requested to bring with you only those individuals who are assisting in the decorating. No children allowed in the facility during this time.
9. You will need to bring all decorating materials with you. Scissors, tape, pens, etc are not available from Potomac Point Winery.

Stafford County has a noise ordinance rule after 11:30pm. No amplified music after that time.

If your site is in a public location, is the client required to get any permits?
No permits required.
Does your venue often accommodate more than one event at a time?
No. We host one wedding a day.
Do you offer security, if requested?
Security is required if your event has more than 80 guests
What is your dress code?
Dress Code is up to the Bride.
Can you provide a coat check?
We offer coat racks for the guest's use.
Describe your bathroom facilities:
Beauiful Bathrooms are located just off the Richland Ballroom. The Bathrooms are very spacious, plenty of stall, and decorated with class. There is also a large bathroom with a shower, just outside the Bridal Salon for the Bride and Bridesmaids to use exclusively while getting ready. There is also a bathroom located near the Barrel Room, Coyote Wine Cave, and Library where most of the grooms get ready.
Describe your parking facilities:
There is plenty of parking to accommodate all events at the Winery. We also have an overflow parking lot just below the Vineyard, if needed. We can accommodate large stretch limos and buses, if needed.
