I would choose this sweet husband and wife team over and over! Not only did they provide a calm presence on the most hectic day of my life, but their goal was truly to capture what was most important to us on our wedding day. They did so without an overload of equipment that some photographers prefer to lug around-they were ready at the blink of an eye to capture any picture that presented itself! Another positive thing was that pictures went by so fast-not only that, but when I looked back at all my pictures, SO many moments were captured! My favorite thing about them though was that they made the pictures look natural. They really captured who my husband and I are, not too posed and not too flashy, just right.

If you are engaged you MUST book Post & Beam Co. immediately!!! Laura made sure to communicate with me regularly before the wedding to make sure everything would be captured perfectly. She and her husband checked lighting beforehand, had a pow-wow at the rehearsal to make sure they were on the same page and who would capture what and from where. They treated us like friends, and even though Laura was getting over being sick, she never let it impact getting a perfect shot. She got on the ground, walked down bike trails, and checked with me repeatedly to make sure there wasn't something I wanted to capture. She even tried to make friends with my dog who HATES cameras. I've only seen the sneak peeks so far, but I'm madly in love with them. Thank you a million times for making our wedding day fun and capturing us when we looked our prettiest! Lol!

I can't recommend Post & Beam Co. enough! Laura made it her goal from the very beginning to understand the vision we had for our Halloween wedding, while offering her own fun suggestions. For instance, I requested that she focus on capturing more candid moments of us and our guests instead of posed shots - and they was able to do that... beautifully! As a result, they captured photos that showed our personalities. They certainly didn't disregard the tiniest, creepy details of our wedding that we put so much effort into preparing. The entire time Laura was determined to get ALL of the great shots, even if that means laying in a rain puddle to capture the perfect angle (it was so worth it)! :D Post & Beam Co. also took the effort to visit the location before the wedding to test lighting and view potential photo locations. Which was soooo awesome because it made the entire process go so much smoother and stress free for the entire wedding party. All of the Post & Beam Co. photographers were extremely professional and organized, yet welcoming and friendly. They made everyone feel comfortable during the process, which is so important when you're having your photo taken! I'm so glad that we chose a photographer that truly sees wedding photography as an art. It's obvious that this is Laura's passion, not just her job, and that makes for some pretty amazing wedding photos for the couples she works with. :)
