Here is the section where we are supposed to give advice. Where we put some thoughts on how to help you decide who to select as your wedding photographer.
Above and Beyond the fact that you need to love their images, could you see yourself being friends with the photographers? After all, having someone around that doesn't make you comfortable isn't what produces great images. What produces great images is being comfortable and being yourself.
When you look at a photographers work, how do the images look? Are they clean and crisp? Are they too bright and washed out? Are they too dark and gloomy? Are there only black and white or sepia shots? Chances are - what you see is what you get.
Do the photographers try to sell you on their products over their work? Do you find yourself just asking about "Albums" or "Canvas Wraps"? Any photographer can provide albums and wraps - do not get caught up in the glamour of products, focus on their work. This is the biggest thing that we can stress.
We want you to love your images - we don't want you to have us capture your big day just because you can purchase a "book" - we want you to have us capture your big day because you know you will get breathtaking images. That's what we provide.
