Planning Elegance is a wedding planning company that provides free wedding planning information through our website, products to help ease your wedding planning experience, and low priced wedding planning services by professional wedding coordinators. Although we specialize in South Asian Weddings, we have general wedding resources throughout our website and have experience in coordinating all types of events for different cultures and backgrounds.

We serve Southern California with our wedding planning services and specialize in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. We are currently expanding into the San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties, so please contact us if you are interested and are getting married in those locations as well. •    Do we need a wedding planner?
Not everyone needs a wedding planner.  However, planning a wedding (whether it’s big or small) can be very stressful.  A wedding planner helps you plan the wedding you want saving you time and stress.  On average, it takes one year to plan a wedding after the date and venue are set.  Many times, both parties are working and don’t know much about venues, catering, décor, etc., therefore your wedding planner will be there to guide and organize everything for you.

•    What is the difference between a wedding coordinator and planner?
Planning a wedding encompasses putting all the pieces of the event(s) together to make a memorable celebration.  Coordinating a wedding encompasses all the aspects of planning one in addition to timing out all the details and physically being at the event ensuring every moment goes as scheduled.  A coordinator also helps the different vendors come together and organizes them on the wedding day so that the bride, groom, and guests don’t have to worry about collaboration.
