Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I offer many special techniques; hand-coloring, sepia toning, black and white, and photo retouching.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I have experience will all different types of lighting.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I prefer digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
I am your personal photographer. However, I do work with an assistant from time to time.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
YES
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I only book one wedding a day in order to give my full attention to you.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Nikon digital camera, speedlight, Specailty flash diffuser & a reflector disc.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes. I have two cameras, an extra flash, & lots of backup batteries.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I charge for full day (approx 6-8 hours). However, I can make arrangements for a discount for less time. My basic package has 4 hours for the bride & groom on a very tight budget.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
6-8 hours is usually enough time for any wedding. However, in the case that the event goes past the time limit I charge $150 an hour after the time limit has been reached.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I usually only require a break during the reception. I take this during dinner at the reception. Most guests do not want their photograph taken while eating.
Do you charge for travel?
I only charge for travel outside of the Columbia Area.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Untouched Proofs are usually ready for online viewing 2-5 days after the event. For retouching & special effects it may take up to 3-4 days longer. Your album proofs will be online 10-14 days after the wedding.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
I offer intial proofs online, on a CD, or in a proof album depending on your package choices.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Proof albums are the Bride and Grooms to keep. IF your package comes with a CD it is yours to keep.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I retain the copyright for your photographs. I reserve the right to use the images as I see fit with no compensation to the client. If your package includes a CD, I issue a release for you to PRINT ONLY. Images may not be sold or used for business purposes.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
I reserve the right to publish your photos to my website for promotional and advertising needs.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes for 60 days after the event.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer Zookbinders Photobook as well as a Luxury Mounted Album. I can also get albums from any of these dealers TAP, Topflight, Pro-craft, Graphistudios & MBI
When will the client get the final album?
Depending on the album you choose, your book will be delivered 7-14 days after the event. Graphistudio albums take 4-6 weeks for delivery.
