Additional Questions and Answers
1. Will the consultant commit to your budget and not push you in the direction of things you simply can't afford?

Here at Perfect Dream Weddings we will work with any budget. Our list of sites and vendors offers every bride all the options she needs to stay with in her budget. Everyone has a limit of what they can afford and we work hard to stay where you need to be.

2. Can the consultant name the best and most original locations in your area (that would be suitable to your wedding size, style, and budget)?

YES!!!! I have many different locations to choose from . I have 15 different places to satisfy budget you needs .

3.Is the consultant familiar with the best florists, photographers, caterers, bands, and DJs in your price range?

Yes i work with many different and inexpensive company . All of the vendors are great to work with because they are passionate about what you want.

4.Can the consultant score you some discounts with any vendors? (Consultants bring volume to favored vendors; often they'll reciprocate by slashing prices or throwing in extras.)

Yes i will try my best to get you what you want.

5.Will the consultant read over the vendor contracts for you? What are some common traps to look out for?

Yes! This is a big part of our job and we work hard to protect you. Some traps to look for would be cancellation policy, confirming who will be working that day and who would cover the event for the professional in case of an emergency.

6.Can the consultant create a time line that tells everyone involved in the planning process -- vendors, members of the wedding party, bride/groom, and families -- what to do and when to do it? How will she/he make sure that everyone sticks to the schedule?

Yes! Once your event and date are confirmed with us we provide a specifically dated time line to the bride, the groom, the best man and the maid of honor. A planning program for professionals that we use lets of keep on top of each detail.

7.Will the consultant coordinate delivery, arrival, and setup times with photographer, florist, musicians, caterer/banquet manager, etc?

Yes. A week before the wedding a final event plan is put together and either emailed or hand delivered to every vendor participating in the day. Our cell phone is given in emergency and a complete timeline is given for delivery, set up, event schedule and breakdown.

8. For the day of the wedding, will the consultant be willing to oversee the entire event by supervising vendors, troubleshooting emergencies, and soothing nerves? Can she/he share any anecdotes that required performing above and beyond the call of duty?

Yes! This is the biggest reason to have a wedding consultant and we enjoy being there in the thick of things watching it all come together and seeing the bride, groom and guests enjoying the day.

9.Will the consultant be willing to step in as your advocate, conveying your visions and desires to vendors when you don't feel up to the task?

Yes! We especially like to be present when you meet with the caterer or hotel staff to discuss menu, reception décor and set up. Most couples are fine meeting with the vendors on their own but we will be there when needed. It is never a problem for us to attend every vendor meeting if needed.

10.Will the consultant help plan and book your honeymoon?

I have some packages that would help give those who cant afford a honeymoon get one.

Tips and Advice
Getting Your Marriage License…

The legal age for marriage is 18 years of age. Couples under the age of 18 must have parental consent. Both the Bride and Groom must apply for and sign the license together, which is valid for 60 days. The county will ask the couple present a valid passport or state driver license, as well as their social security numbers. Residency or blood tests are not required. Previously married couples are asked to submit the date of divorce or death. If the marriage ended within the past 30 days, a certified copy of the divorce decree or death certificate is required.

Fees range $88.50 to $113.50, depending upon which court house you visit. A discount of $32.50 is offered to Florida residents who complete state sanctioned premarital counseling. Payment may be made with cash, money order, Visa or Master Card. No personal checks are accepted.

There is a three day waiting period to obtain the license for Florida residents only. Florida residents who wish to avoid the three day waiting period must register and complete a four-hour state sanctioned marriage preparation course prior to obtaining the marriage license. If the couple obtains counseling, the filing fee will be reduced by $32.50 and there is no waiting period.

Couples who reside in another state or country, and come to Florida to get married, are exempt from this three day waiting period provision. There is no discount on the fee.

Visit www.stateofflorida.com and click on Permits and Licenses for more info.

NOTE:
Many officiates and ceremony sites require prior interview and/or counseling sessions with the Bride and Groom. In this case, a certificate can be obtained from the officiate stating the required meetings have occurred. Learn more about this from your officiate. There are a number of other qualified counseling providers, as well as online self-study courses available, although it is first best to ask your county court house for a list of their registered course providers.
