patti*cakes is a reflection of chef Patti Samper’s passion, creative energy and artistry.

All our cakes are custom designed, baked and handmade by chef Patti Samper — from flavors to colors, and concept to final product. We use mostly organic ingredients as well as (difficult to find) fine ingredients from around the world.

Each cake is especially designed according to our clients’ preferences and taste.   As no two persons are the same, neither are the cakes produced at patti*cakes. Each one is unique to its owner and the occasion, which chef Patti enjoys tremendously making as memorable.

yes and we custom design our stands for a complete and beautiful presentation.
 
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
all our cakes are couture cakes. they are all custom designed, custom recipe's made exclusively for each client.
 
What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes?
we use mostly organic ingredients and difficult to find, fine ingredients from around the world.
 
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
all our cakes are baked as close as possible to the wedding date. the decorations of the cake take much longer, and usually require a three week to one month decoration preparation period.
 
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
we deliver a maximum of two cakes per day as we like to maintain a very high level of service for all our clients.
 
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
yes.
 
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?
cake stands are designed for clients, however, are the property of patti*cakes,ltd.
 
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
we deliver and set-up within the tri-state area

Tips and Advice
there is a difference between bakers/bakeries and cake designers. bakers/bakeries will provide more typical themes and flavors.
custom cake designers are more detail oriented and will develop customized recipe's, colors and designs to suit clients' specific preferences.

when ordering a custom designed cake, please choose your cake designer 6 months prior to your event.
select a cake designer that is in-keeping with your ideas/preferences rather than someone who claims they can do "anything". 

select a cake designer or baker whom you are personally comfortable working with.
