What type of decor (if any) do you offer?
I have several different items that I offer to rent to my bride to help save them money wherever possible. Ranging, from bowls to float candles to 'aisle' candleabras for the ceremony location. I try to do what ever I can to ease the budget of the Bride.
 
Do you provide non-floral additions to floral arrangements?
There are an aray of additions you can enhance your bouquet with. From, beautiful crystals or pearls to match the brides dress, to feathers and ribbons. Whatever you see as the bouquet of your dreams, I can create for you.
 
Do you offer full-services, such as wedding day setup, for an additional fee?
We offer complete decorating at both the ceremony site and the reception site FREE of charge with both the purchase of the Wedding cake and flowers.
 
Di you have not worked at the ceremony or reception sites previously, would you be willing to visit the sites before the event?
For any locations that I have not been to before, I will be glad to meet with the Bride to go over everything that I can offer her.
 
Do you offer any other specializations that have not been covered?
With both the purchase of flowers and cakes from 'Over The Top' we will gladly cut the cost of the delivery in half, and there is NO set up fee for ANYTHING.

I offer private taste testings for the cake at your home or location of choice. When you have it at your home, you may invite as many people as you would like to be there to try the cake. The more the merrier.
 
What are your tasting hours?
I make taste testing appointments in the daytime, evening, or weekend. Whichever works best for my Bride and her guests.
 
Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?
My cakes start at $3.00 per slice and up.
 
Does the price include the top tier of the cake?
I do not charge for the top layer of cake and I do not include that layer in the number of servings.
 
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
Every cake is custom made to your specifications. We can work on creating a 'one of a kind' design especially for you.
 
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
I make my cakes within 3 days of the wedding. It is never frozen and guaranteed fresh.
 
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
I ususally will do no more than 2 cakes in a weekend.

Tips and Advice
Cake Tips and Advice-
  Tip-- Don’t let anyone tell you that you must use a pound cake for the bottom layer.
If a cake is supported correctly, you can really use an angel food cake if you prefer. 
 Advice--Don’t choose to put fillings in every layer. Once the cake  has been setting at room temperature, the cake filling can be quite messy when cut  and just may not look so great.  
Flower Tips and Advice-
  Tip--As the summer months approach us, beware of the flowers that you use in your bouquets. Hand-Held bouquets are usually not recommended for
hydrangeas, as they often do not hold up and are rather costly to the consumer. Make sure the florist you choose can tell you which works best for you.
  Advice--If you are having an outdoor wedding, take into consideration what type of vase you are using for your table arrangements. Make sure that it is a low vase with a wide base (or equally as wide at bottom as top) so that if the wind picks up, they will not topple over and make a mess on the tables.
