Additional Questions and Answers
How many musicians do I need? Size of venue, number of guests, and type of occasion all play a part in deciding the size of an ensemble. As an example, a string quartet can do nicely in a wedding ceremony, but in a more intimate setting, a violin and guitar, or flute, violin, cello combination can do as well or better. Another consideration is amplification, while generally not needed in an indoor ceremony, outdoors...or for larger reception/dinner gatherings, it can allow a two or three member group to be heard without being obtrusive.

Tips and Advice
1. Meet in person with the musician/musicians performing at your event. 2. Sample different styles/instrumentation for a "good fit" with your individual taste. 3. Remember that the live music performed at your event can greatly influence the overall experience, quality does make an impact. 4. Start considering your musical options a minimum of six months in advance of your occasion.
