What is your band's usual attire?
Our usual attire is 'Black Tie'. Our female vocalists have hundreds of gowns & cocktail wear in an assortement of colors that is coordinated to match your specific event.
Do you offer live sample performances or CDs?
NightLife offers both a "Studio Version" and "Live Version" of music on DVD and on www.thenightlifeband.com.
Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?
NightLife can learn any song within a two week period and does not hesitate to do so! We have a VAST song list from Sinatra to Snoop Dog and everything in between.
How much time do you usually need for setup?
NightLife needs a full three hours to set up all of our equipment. Two hours if the lighting system is not being used.
How much space do you usually require?
NightLife prefers an 18 by 24 foot stage and 6 seperate 20 amp circuits to power the band.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
NightLife offers a state of the art sound and lighting system including digital lazer lights, strobes, stage and dancefloor lighting.
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
NightLife has proudly had a professional DJ on the front line for many years emceeing all our events and keeping the energy alive during the entire evening.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
A required meal break? No. But, being as NightLife is a high energy dance band, a vendor meal is greatly appreciated to keep the energy level up and constant!
Do you play recorded music during your break?
NightLife always has the break music covered in between sets. We also can make custom break music depending on the wants of our clients.
What is your overtime rate?
All overtime is pro-rated on the hourly fee.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Yes, we charge for travel expenses if the event is more than 2 hours away. The charge differs depending on the needs of the clients and the travel time.
